It’s a busy life, I know that and my 6 year old daughter, Kailani, understands that as well. This past Saturday, we took a step back from all the hustle & bustle and made breakfast. That’s very rare in our home. I know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but sad to say, we get by with quick grab & go meals. Such a shame.
When I was growing up, my mother never took the time to teach me how to cook. I say, take advantage of the young absorbant minds!! My daughter LOVES to help out in the kitchen whenever she can, and I’d like to keep it that way. If there’s one thing I’d like to teach her the most, it would be how to cook. How to survive on your own (then comes money business j/k!)
Since my pantry was all nice & organized, and my countertops were cleared from all the clutter, we were able to whip some good smores pancakes!

Sorry folks.. No After Platted Picture. They were too good – couldn’t resist eating them right away. Plus, pancakes never come out as good as they look in cookbooks =p
